HBCP Research Browser and Study Finding Tools

The Study Finding Tool is updated regularly to include published reports of RCTs of smoking cessation interventions. These have not been annotated using the BCIO but provide a potentially useful starting point for such annotation.

The Research Browser Tool (Smoking) allows users to search a database of smoking cessation intervention evaluation reports more precisely and completely than is possible using other search tools. It uses the Behaviour Change Intervention Ontology to structure queries and locate relevant evaluation reports.

The dataset includes around 500 smoking cessation randomised controlled trials that were published between 1978 and 2019. These are the ones that were annotated for the HBCP.

For subsequent studies (that have not been annotated) see below for the Study Finding Tool.

We have annotated a selection of RCTs evaluating interventions to increase physical activity. We only annotated studies that used time spent in moderate to vigorous physical activity as outcomes, published between 2005 and 2020.
